URich chances??

AHN1245, depending on the quality of your high school, you seem to have a decent chance. If many graduates go on to Ivies and other good schools you’re in better shape grade-wise.

PAVenturer, for someone whose daughter hasn’t spent a semester there, you say a lot about Richmond financial aid without a solid background. I’m going into my senior year there and this is only the second year I’ve gotten any financial aid. Like most colleges, Richmond expects your family to use all savings as well as money put aside for retirement. Furthermore, they boast that the average aid package is something ridiculous like $35,000 but that has not been my experience. Much of what I’m offered is unsubsidized loans, meaning the interest must be paid back immediately. I think the total aid for the two years is less than half of Richmond’s “average” package.
