<p>As a former house page, you might as well apply to both. Donovan95 is right on that some senators always get pages. The house is slightly different because there are more members and only around 70 pages. However, the speaker can appoint several pages and they do not have to be from his district. I had a great time as a page, helped me substantially with college apps. In fact i wrote my college essay on it. Also it would be good to intern at your senator or rep’s office to at least put your name on the radar screen.</p>
