its not a foolproof way to get into college, but it would definitely greatly increase your chances. especially if your grades and SATs are decent as well (and by decent i mean A/A- at a good school and SAT score 1500/2250). IBO is an international competition, for god’s sake :P</p>

<p>just took the semis. They seemed pretty easy (compared to the ones last year), which means that the cut off will be ridiculously high. i think i got like 40 points lower than the max, but i doubt that was good enough.</p>
