For top colleges, how is a USAMTS Gold or Silver medal looked at, especially compared to other math accomplishments like USAMO or HMMT Top 50?
It’s good to have, but to be honest, it’s not that prestigious as people don’t take the contest very seriously and a lot of top mathletes don’t even participate.
