<p>My financial aid status was updated to the one Zamela has on 4/19 (I just checked it yesterday though). Also a letter was sent to my home instead of my local address. I wonder what it could be about; leaving for home immediately tomorrow. This wait is ridiculous!</p>
<p>see zamela’s previous post about the email about her financial aid. they usually send it in email and snail mail. so maybe that’s what was sent to your house??</p>
<p>i got that in snail mail and email before, but that was after i submitted everything the first time in february. they sent me another email yesterday saying i have 2 more require documents that need to be faxed.</p>
<p>zamela, for you parents’ seperation, did you fill out the Custodial Parent Worksheet?</p>

<p>yes, i filled that out. the 2nd batch of require documents are called, “3rd Party Letter Re: Non-Custodial Parent” and “Documentation of Parents’ Separation.”</p>
<p>these are different from the custodial parent worksheet. i just called my mom and she’s going to get the letters to me soon.</p>
<p>Zamela, how long did it take your financial aid status to change to ‘being reviewed’? Currently, I’m missing 2 items(tax returns from my parents and myself). I intend to fax them over either today or tomorrow. Just wondering so I can get an idea…</p>
<p>Oh and my application status is still being reviewed…been updated since April 9th. This feels like forever. I can’t wait until May.</p>

<p>Was April 6th to April 22nd where they changed the ‘additional information required’ to ‘being reviewed’ for financial aid status?</p>
<p>both times were “being reviewed.” the only part of my status that changed today was the 2nd phrase. it didn’t tell me about the required additional information. i had to check that by myself through email and OASIS.</p>

<p>ahh i can’t wait to go home. too bad i have an 8 page paper due tomorrow that i’ve barely started. the 4 hour drive to san jose takes away a lot of writing time</p>
<p>Ohhh okay, I get it now. Yeah, I have a few 3-5 page papers I have yet to do. I should start working on that. Haha. 4 hours? That can certainly take a toll on you.</p>

for my parents’ separation, I sent them a notarized letter explaining our situation (my dad is gone, I don’t have contact with him, and he does not supply any financial support). Maybe something like that will suffice for you too. I also faxed them a copy of my parents’ divorce papers, but I know that doesn’t apply to you.</p>
<p>Today was my last day of classes! (except for my math class which ends Monday)</p>
<p>Now I just realllllllly need to push through these last 2 weeks of finals & papers. ahhhh lol</p>

<p>5/1 = math final</p>
<p>5/5 = chem final</p>
<p>5/6 = english final paper due</p>
<p>5/7 = fly home</p>
