shwayzeee, I think my status is being delayed because I have seriously like 9 W’s and USC takes that into deep consideration. Oh wells.

wow jennnn, that’s pretty crazy. i think you’re the only one to get that update.

from that, i guess zamela’s update doesn’t mean they asked for her grades. she should hear soon. yay.

i wonder when all the rest of us will get new updates. exciiitttiinngg.

and jennn, sorry for the long wait. =/ is USC your first choice??

I’m so jealous of all you getting status updates, haha. Damn.

i’m totally jealous too. geez. i almost hate USC for making us wait so long. but it takes a strong love for something to hate it.

aaam90, it’s one of my top choices along with UCLA and Cal. Envious of me getting updates? I’m in LIMBO! HAHAHA.

Jennnn- thats so exciting you got a SGR!! Would you mind letting us know your stats?!

ohh that’s cool. what’s your stats jenn?

Philosophy major, but I put down on my application… if accepted I’m going to change it to their newest available major called Philosophy, Politics and Law. 3.5 GPA w/ 9 W’s! Hahaha. I do a lot of human rights activities and volunteering, which I think it made possible for me to be in limbo at USC with that many W’s.

jennnn- i think depending on when your semester ends, that is how early you can hear from them, so schools like mine where we get out june 18th we hear in july but if you get out earlier than you should be good

also I got this update today

Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee. We will mail notification of their decision by June 1. If for some reason you don’t receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone beginning June 11th.

dude seriously…this is killing me im like going through soo many emotions that well idk what to do with myself…i like suprises but this is one suprise thats killing me
Jen at least you got some feedback, regardless if your in limbo

Jocelyne626 – my school doesn’t end until May 21st and grades don’t get posted until early June. Eh, whatever.

Question! I mailed USC my transcript when I submitted my applications, it said I was enrolled in four classes and now I’m only in two. No W’s though! HAH. Would USC give me a rejection letter because of that? One of the classes was a language course and an irrelevant philosophy course. I forget if i told them I dropped those two courses or not. =|

i am so jealous of all the status updates. the last time i got one was back in february :/.
the wait is killing me haha

wats wrong with LMU? lol im not applying there but im just curious

Jennnn are u a soph or junior?!

I got a spring grade request as well

Santa_monica 2- would u mind letting us know your stats?!

Maximum89, I’ll be a junior.

santa_monica2, what are your stats and are you in a hole like me with W’s also?

ugh Im getting nervous now
I really hope they are deciding between
acceptance and spring request for me instead of spring request and rejection
:/

My stats are 4.0 GPA and I am in my second year of college. When this semester ends I will have 61 Units completed. Without having to call USC, I know that the reason for my spring grade report request is because I am currently taking intermediate algebra and their minimum English requirement. Without those, I don’t think they can consider me a transfer applicant until they are complete. So I will have to finish up in Mid-June and wait another month. I suppose on the bright side, they are taking the time to request the grades instead of seeing me as a lost cause of sorts that a grade report couldn’t help.

I applied to the cinema school for production and what I am not clear on is if the spring grade report will now push the SCA decision back to mid-July like the university or if I will still hear mid-May like the school has been saying. I am betting that with the university holding up my app., the SCA won’t act.

…And no W’s btw.
