<p>SGRs r not sugarcoated rejections for sophomore transfers because pretty much ALL sophomore transfer applicants get SGRs</p>

<p>for junior transfers, an SGR is almost like getting deferred from early decision/action… later on u will either be accepted or rejected</p>

<p>im not positive actually, but i read the entire thread from last year (during some boring weeks lol) and everyone got a SGR that didnt get accepted right off the bat… then either got a rejection or acceptance.</p>

<p>USC does sure does reject people flat out. It happened last year. Some get accepted, some get rejected, and some get an SGR.</p>

<p>I hope it doesn’t mean that they’ve already reviewed my app and rejected me. Those who got accepted had their FA status correspond directly with an app status change it seemed. </p>

<p>I am having to send in tax crap for the third time now. The first time they couldn’t read the fax. The second time I forgot to mail the W2s (I have worked for many employers so I have a lot of them) and today I over-nighted the whole package again.</p>

<p>captain rodeo, i think it probably has something to do with your financial aid status not being updated. but as far as admissions go, they are independent of each other so it probably doesn’t affect your application status.</p>
