<p>well ax, it depends on your GPA in comparison with other people’s, even if they come from a CC.</p>
<p>even though they do consider the school you come from, a 3.68 at your school still doesn’t look as good as a 3.7 from a CC.</p>
<p>and yeah, being a legacy will help.</p>
<p>i go to a 4 year university too so i can kind of see where you’re coming from but don’t really agree. i mean realistically, we’re only taking GEs right now anyway so the degree of difficulty between our schools’ GEs and the same classes at CC’s can’t show too much of a disparity as they’re supposed to be less difficult anyway.</p>

<p>trojanhopeful- REALLY? thats so cool! I didn’t know anyone else that had that same reason for wanting to transfer for the MI minor. I interned at sony/atv music publishing in LA last summer so I wrote a lot about how i wanted the minor in my “why transfer to USC / how do u want to pursue ur academic interests” essays in the app</p>
<p>aaam90- i disagree. I saw kids on past threads who got in with 3.3’s from schools like Georgetown and Duke</p>
<p>that’s good shooshou. i saw people with those GPAs that got in from CCs too. (like my boyfriend.

<p>a few people have been accepted that we have heard of. and a lot of people have received SGRs. and of course, if you’re doing well right now, it can only help you. so hopefully you’re doing well. and this wait is totally killer for all of us. hehe. people who received an SGR were informed that they would probably be informed in July of the decision! ahh!</p>

I dont even know if i want to go into it at all – its just something im interested in and want to learn about, but it could always be an industry that i could do business in for the future & i kinda wana go to business school for grad school & if i get into USC then i will most likely change my major to computer science and i know there is always a lot of music technology work that can be done in the business</p>
