Hippo: My friend made sure his appeal letter was absolutely great. So make sure you have a second opinion on it. ( A writing professor if possible)

hippo50-mmm ok well…let’s band together and hope we’re two of the coveted 20 spots USC MOM said that were successful appeals last year haha

celine I talked to someone today who has graduated from SC and was a spring admit he said housing should not be a problem and advised me to go down to LA to take classes at a CC there to get acclimated to life in LA (I’m not taking his advise, I am taking 12 units at a local CC around here though). However, I do think I will fly down for the ohio state game and since I’m close to Cal I think I am going to that game too.

Also, facebook?

Also, if you read here (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/484291-university-southern-california-spring-admits-2012-unite-5.html) spring admits it looks like if we do get moved to fall we should know within the month because incoming freshmen spring admits heard within a month after the last day to enroll. Good luck everyone

do you go to a cc now? i was thinking of either going to a cc in LA or at home…but i currently go to a university…do you think USC would frown upon leaving my U and going to a cc for a term?
also, are you planning on talking to a counselor about what classes to take? i’m not sure what classes would be most useful…in terms of gen eds and such…

but yes yes facebook…i guess if you search celine elefson i’m in the stuart country day school and oregon networks… find me!

I go to a CC now and if you read the FAQ in the back of our spring welcome booklet it says we don’t even have to attend school, we only have to send in a transcript from units you are completing now, so I doubt they will care if you go to a CC. Also, I remember someone was saying they don’t look at grades differently if you are applying from a 4-year opposed to a CC. If you are really concerned I’m sure you can e-mail your counselor.

By the way all spring admits I e-mailed my counselor about trying to do an internal transfer to Annenberg (since I was admitted to CLAS–which the USC graduate tells me they call “the college,” sickkk USC lingo.) and he wrote back "Congratulations on being admitted! It was a very competitive year, so you should be very proud. " And I agree, we should all be very proud and happy even if it’s not the ideal situation

Peppa and willsays: “Welcome to the Trojan family!!!” :D

marco- my acceptance was sent first class mail not priority.

By the way, girl spring admits I found this while searching google for spring admit housing, unfortunately I am male so have no use for this
[SPRING 2009 USC HOUSING AVAILABLE–TROY HALL!!! - usc.forsale | Google Groups](http://groups.google.com/group/usc.forsale/browse_thread/thread/34a9bffc74d74e3b)

do you plan on writing, emailing, calling, etc to see if you can get bumped to fall? have you heard anything about this? from skimming that other thread it seems like some people who got bumped did that…

waitingonSC: How long did it take for you to receive something in the mail from USC? I noticed your from Ventura.

oo and i also applied to annenberg as my first choice and was accepted to CLAS…hoping i can switch or reapply once i’m there too

willsays: I was acted on (Monday). Got my package yesterday (Wednesday).

I hope I get my package on Saturday!!!

I called and that’s in the back of our book too, it says there is a slight chance and it will be done not on any sort of ranking, but by the needs of enrollment of USC. It’s basically all chance.
Since you are a fellow Annenberger you are probably interested in the rest of the e-mail then too,
"You will want to go through an ‘internal transfer.’ Since you are already a USC student and want to change programs, you will have to follow a few pre-reqs to be admitted to Communication.

I hope this was helpful. "

And I e-mailed Annenberg directly to ask which pre-reqs I need so I will let you know what they say when they e-mail me back

oh my god my mouth is killing me. I had my lower wisdom teeth taking out.

Great! thanks for the help trojanhopeful

congrats will!!! =D
