Sent in an appeal for financial aid today
But I can’t get through to the financial aid office! I want to make sure they got the documents, and I am wondering how long it will take to see if they listen to my appeal.</p>

counselor says “what!? It was mailed Thursday. You should have it today.”
I didn’t tell him I had looked at the mail already.
He said I can call on the 11th. He was leaving on vacation today.
My status changed friday.
Maybe that’s as good of news as they can give.</p>

<p>They said that only internal transfers can start in the spring.
They said that I have to come in the fall or not at all. I don’t know why.</p>
<p>Financial aid just told me that they won’t process appeals until mid-July
Admissions just put a note in the system saying that I am waiting to enroll until the appeal goes through, but it is not guaranteeing that they won’t give my spot away.
Also sending in a special letter to see if I can waive the deposit fee, so I can ensure my spot is there just in case it all works out.</p>

<p>mine is : “We have received the spring grades requested by the committee. We will be forwarding your file for further review very soon. For students submitting spring grades, we typically mail final decisions by mid-July.”</p>

i called once before and the lady said that it’s because i submitted a paper application…but i submitted it online…and when i told her that she kinda ignored what i said, lol.
but i just called (and spoke with Karen :D) and she said that my app is still under review and no decision has been made yet. that makes me feel slightly better since i can’t log into the deposit page yet. the waiting game continues</p>

<p>I’m with both of you, but I’m hoping since they already have our spring grades we’ll hear by the end of June. I mean some people still haven’t gotten out yet like the UC people so they definitely won’t hear until later. Let’s just keep being patient guys and make it through this together accepted or not :D</p>
