hey guys! no news yet. hopefully tomorrow! lol, that’s all i ever say, but i’m bound to be right eventually.

today the film crew from project runway came to my city to film a commercial for the upcoming season and i’m in it!! really random, but exciting! heidi klum wasn’t there though lol

Yarrrrrrrrr another day of waiting.

how do you find out who your admission counsler is, cause i want to call and have them push mine to the front… haha th reason being is that i have also have to make a choice based on financial aid

o imeant financial aid counsler not admission and that was to peppa

azazi - Unlike admissions, there is no specific financial aid counselor for your region/school–you get whoever ends up with your file. You either have to call the office, or email them if you have questions. They typically respond to emails within two days. Phone calls can get you quick answers, but if you want to make any specific changes, it has to be in writing–either through an email, or a faxed or mailed document. Your admissions counselor may be able to expedite things, but that depends on the counselor and his or her relationship with the financial aid people.

azazi… im in the same position as u ahaha i have to wait for financial aid as well. i called and told them that my financial aid is what is holding up my entire decision to go to usc or not and stopping me from possibly missing the july 1st orientation, which is the only one i can attend. they said they would let me know within the next few days =)

peppamintt the july 1st orientation is now officially sold out…

Talking about orientation, what do you guys suggest I do:

The only orientation i can go to is the international one, August 17th. (Im in FL, so i don’t want to take two trips across the country )

So My options are:

1) I ask USC to mail me a package and sign up for classes by myslef in mid-July and don’t attend orientation

2) I attend international orientation and just hope I can get classes by Aug. 17

I wanna do both, bus they won’t let me do that. It’s either or… What do you guys think I should do??

Went from "“We are unable to process the status of your application at this time. Please try again later, or Contact Us with any questions or concerns you might have.”

to

“The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you have not received our written notification, we will be happy to provide the results over the phone 10 days after your letter was mailed.”

I still can’t login to deposit site, I guess now is a good time to panic. :/

lol, just got my rejection letter. Though I had my doubts, I had 3 A’s and 1 W(due to a surgery) for my spring grades so I thought my chances of getting in were high.

I’m sorry you didn’t get in molamann

Man, $220 for orientation for my dad and I?! Wow! July 10, 2009

sorry to hear that molamann. are you going to appeal?

Most likely not, I’m not sweating it all that much because I was going to apply next semester anyways. I rushed this application by literally writing my essay and quick answers on the day of the deadline so I feel like I had it coming lol.

molaman, I’m sorry to hear you got rejected…but I wish you the best of luck next semester!! :)

PS: 500 posts, woohoo!

everybody who is worried about financial aid f and your a new student, whether transfer or freshman, the financial aid should all be out by either this week or next because I just called he theysaid there almost done with all the new students!

Ohhh azazi that is awesome news!!! Thank you!
UNC keeps bugging me to pay for a background check…but I won’t if i don’t end up going there. Hurry up USC!

so, figuratively speaking, i get accepted. i didn’t apply for fin. aid (because i’m ■■■■■■■■ and didn’t think to check for a deadline) and i’m one of those people who really really needs it. EFC of 0, self-employed single mother who makes a very low annual income. is there any way to appeal for fin aid from USC or an i SOL?

get all your documents in by july 1st and you can still apply for financial aid and might not be considered late because there more understanding o new students they said… so hurry up!

okay, i’ll definitely do that, thanks azazi! will i need to give them an explanation for being so late? if so, i’m most likely SOL, ha
