<p>I got the review status yesterday and was able to log into the deposit page really early this morning around 530-6 : ) good luck everyone! today should hopefully be the last day of waiting!</p>

<p>I would just like to say that I honestly (if you didnt see my posts) seriously thought I wasnât getting in. It wasnât be humble, it was being dam realistic. My GPA dropped from a 3.6 to a 3.0 and I got a C in one of their prereqs. I was depressed big time for a good two weeks because I thought my hopes for USC were completely over. But I still had hope and emailed me AMAZING counselor about my current situation (having an internship in my desired field and taking art classes for it) and tried to do damage control for my grade. She said she would foward the email to the committee. I didnât think it would make much of a difference and I thought with a C in a prereq who am I kidding?! But I had a bit of hope, more negative thoughts than hope however. And to be honest I think being a legacy (sister went thereâŠvery weak legacy but whatever) and not asking for financial help also made a difference. To future applicants reading this forum, who think their GPA will bring them down, have hope. If something disastrous happens try explaining it to your counselor. Be realistic with yourself, but keep a bit of hope in there. Keep fighting for it because if you REALLY want then youâll be willing to work for it. Haha I wouldnât surprised if I read next years posts and it said something like âthere was a girl from last year with a cumulative 3.2 gpa and she got inâ. Iâm still going to post on here until this thread has totally dried. But I just wanna thank EVERYONE (glor, marco, amorrison, everyone else) for the support and encouragement.
