<p>WOW that was fast. My status changed yesterday to “it’s been forwarded to the committee” and today it was changed to “The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results this over the phone beginning June 11th.” </p>
<p>That almost seems like a bad sign. Like, they just saw it and saw something they didn’t like and were like “heck no.” I guess we’ll see in a couple days.</p>

<p>Does anyone know if it’s ok to switch majors? I was thinking of switching to a similar major, but it’s in a different college. Is this impossible to do? I’m prepared for the major (as in, I’ve taken all the classes).</p>

<p>Ughhh I finally get a status update and it’s this:</p>
<p>“We have received your application, and we need more information. Please ensure you have submitted all required items. Due to the high volume of application documents we receive, allow sufficient processing time.”</p>
<p>They requested a transcript document from a community college which is my first semester there as I am also taking courses at a university, and the course I’m taking at community college is only Modern Art History to fulfill one of the USC GE categories. I am applying to marshall and finished all of my pre-reqs and have 62 units :[ as well as a 3.9 GPA, so I called them and asked why they would want that since it’s a GE class at a community college, and the admissions counselor told me she put some notes on my app about how the class is just to fulfill a GE, hopefully they will CONTINUE TO REVIEW MY APP!!! and not just shoo me aside cuz they think I still need a document to submit, which I won’t have ready until after June 6th.</p>
<p>The counselor suggested that I might want to submit a grade card, do you guys think I should? I received an A+ 104/100 on my first exam… but I don’t want the whole grade card process/processing to lag my whole application…</p>
<p>@xdzzzrawr - They check the national clearing house and if you show up as having attended <em>any</em> school, they will require a transcript usually. In this case they might not need it since it is your first semester and the grades aren’t out yet but they’ll want it after the semester is done of course.</p>
