<p>I’m freaking out here, I just got an email from the Assistant Director of Admissions and he’s asking me for transcripts of a college I’ve never attended. Should I call or reply to his email or both? What sucks is that the reception to call back to the states from here is horrible! I might have to make a trek to the call center which is almost two miles from where I stay. :/</p>

<p>@Foodmunkee: yes, I am. I’ve been here since last September. My second tour out here too. It’s okay, my tour is almost over and I should be back in the states in a week. Man! I have so many things to look forward to! Finally leaving Iraq, getting a decision from USC, getting back to LA, going to my sister’s USC Graduation (She’s an Engineer Major at 'SC), and HAWAII! So many great highlights in 2010! :D</p>

<p>@fujiwarae86: They don’t event get to a majority of the applications until well into May. It is out of the ordinary for anyone to have received a decision this early. No need to freak out until like May 20th :)</p>
<p>@fujiwarae86 - Yeah it is annoying. It sounds like they did get started a bit early this year so I doubt it will be much longer until you see a status change. I’m excited that we might see more acceptances coming out in the next couple weeks versus the latter part of May like last year.</p>

<p>yes, i finally got a status update, a very short one, literally all it says is “your application has been forwarded for committee review” i dont know if this is necessarily a good thing, but i hope!!</p>
<p>Yes, it’s a good thing. It means you should be getting the “the committee has acted on your application” in a week or so, and you’ll get your letter or package at that time.</p>
