<p>@happydk - So what is your guess as to when we will hear? Think it might go out this weekend with the other final apps or do you think we’ll have to wait another full week?</p>
<p>On Monday, I asked my counselor specifically when to expect a decision.</p>
<p>Here’s his response:
“You can expect to hear from USC in the coming week or two regarding your admission decision.”</p>
<p>I personally think June 10th latest.</p>
<p>On another note, I received the actual SGR in the mail today.</p>
<p>"After a careful review of your record, the Admission Committee has asked for additional information before they make a decision on your application.</p>
<p>The committee would like to see the results of your spring term course work to assist them in their final review."</p>
<p>Those statements lead me to believe that they’ll glance over our spring grades to seal or break the deal because they’ve already thoroughly looked at our applications.</p>
<p>Yeah, hope it doesn’t take them that long cause I really need to deposit and get going on registering for classes at my backup if USC doesn’t admit me.</p>
<p>The end of next week is realistic. I’ve been fighting off deposit deadlines as well.
I found this in last year’s thread from user peppamintt:</p>

<p>Status changed to in review? So I wonder if it’ll change to the “Your app has been forwarded to committee for review” or not. Guess we’ll know if it’ll be that quick if we see some action by Saturday!</p>
<p>I have a question about EFC. So EFC is the amount I’m going to have to pay for myself right? No matter how much financial aid I get. They’re always going to make it so that I have to pay the EFC amount and there’s no way to reduce it?</p>

well, as for SCA, some ppl say SCA doesn’t update the status. but some ppl who got into SCA say, their status changed to “acted” from “forwarded” within 24hrs or so.
