hahaha I am thinking about calling but I’m scared if they would tell me the decision and it’s a rejection. haha!

so I see that some transfer students ( the ones that got accepted early may) have received their housing assignment.

How long did it take from the date you guys submitted the app?
I submitted mine on the 22nd or so…

@itsyouitsme naw they are legally unable to tell their decision on your application over the phone. they can tell you that your decision has been mailed though, or they haven’t mailed it or what not.

@itsyouitsme - Schools almost always refuse to tell you anything over the phone if it is a rejection. I’ve only heard of schools telling you of an acceptance over the phone and usually only very late in the admissions process.

I’m a little confused. How do I log into Oasis or myUSC? Do I need to submit the deposit before I can access them?

unknownpleasures, there’s no set amount of time. They’re working through their housing wait list right now. It’s hard to predict what’ll happen.

Quentin13, I don’t know if you need to submit a deposit first. Try it:
USC ID as your user name, password is your birth date. I think the birth date format is mmddyy.

hmm its not working for me. Says “You have entered an invalid USC ID”.

Where is the link?

https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx

@Quentin13 you don’t submit your enrollment deposit on OASIS, and anyone can use OASIS anytime, as soon as you start your application to apply, you can use OASIS. I believe you need to make an account, you can’t just input your e-mail address, you need to actually be in the OASIS system. I believe they will ask for your USC ID and birthdate and it will link your other documents tied to your USC ID into OASIS. But you do not submit your enrollment deposit at OASIS.

That link you just posted is the wrong OASIS link, it’s a bit weird that they’re both called OASIS but this is the right link: https://camel2.usc.edu/ESD/IOL/login.aspx.

ah thank you. So where do I go to create an OASIS account?

edit: Guess it was the wrong link. Thank you.

@Quentin13 On the very bottom it says “new? Sign up” and you input your info and presto!

how do i check the backdoor method?

Quentin13, use the link you originally had. If you follow xdzzzrawr’s link and hit “OASIS services” at the top it’ll just send you to the one you were using to begin with. xdzzzrawr’s link does go to OASIS but only to the financial aid portion. To access all the features, use https://camel2.usc.edu/OASIS/Login.aspx

You don’t have to specifically register to use that one I just gave/the one you had. Try using your birthdate as DDMMYYYY. This whole thing is kind of weird, I understand the confusion. When I went to try xdzzzrawr’s link, the information I use to log in to the general OASIS system didn’t work and I had to make a new account.

spiderman2010, check page 546.

but why when i put this link, https://usconnect.usc.edu:447/Render...ification.aspx and hit enter, it gives me a blank page?

@Serapher

I can log into the one dzzrawr linked, but receive the invalid id for the one you (and I) originally linked.

Did you remove the dashes from the USC ID? If so, I don’t know what’s up. Maybe to access the “full” one you have to be admitted?

spiderman2010, I’m sorry. The one on 646 is messed up. The one on 546 has the links right. Here’s the link: https://usconnect.usc.edu:447/Render/ServiceRender/AdmUGCertification.aspx

@madeforusc: I applied as a English major. I called my school for my transcript and they would not send it until there is a GPA on it and that is not until Tuesday.

I had told the school to not wait for my transcript because my school system is slow. I was suppose to be done with classes May 20 but i had one class on May 26. the professor was suppose to post it two days after final. she waited until June 1st. now i have to wait more.

I hope we hear soon cause i went on the housing site and they said after May 13, you may not be guarantee for housing.

@everyone: is there a website to see any colleges in California and if it has transferable credits?

stargurl93, you mean if USC has an agreed transfer policy with that school? Error;

Yea I removed the dashes and still won’t work. Odd.
