<p>I would think that athletics would be your only ticket into USC, if I’m being perfectly honest. Your GPA and test scores are all quite low–the middle 50% of admitted students this year was a 30-34 on the ACT and 2060-2200 on SAT with an average GPA of 3.8. If you can somehow raise your GPA and test scores (significantly) I suppose you might have a shot, but bear in mind that admission will continue to be more and more competitive each year. </p>
<p>BTW, a 30 ACT is in the middle 50% of USC’s admitted stats (as I’ve already stated) and is NOT comparable to a 1690 on the SAT. So hidalgo, your admittance is not too much of a surprise, though a 1690 SAT seems extremely low, and your brother most likely had special circumstances/outstanding attributes.</p>
