<p>I think they will be sending out merit scholarships separately, I say this because my financial aid status was updated again (06/04/2008) but it didn’t say I needed any other documents.</p>
<p>I received my transfer merit scholarship notification in the mail yesterday. I think they are sending it out to the students who were accepted early on in May. I got my package in the second week of May, so I think they will get to everyone sooner or later. Good luck to everyone. I am anxious about my housing situation too. I dont want to get stuck with some 17 or 18 year old!</p>

I just got another big chunk of aid, though not from USC. My housing is nearly half paid off! Wow, this is like dream come true status. 
I was worrying about how to meet my gap. Forget loans, those are for after college, but the gap was stressing me out a bit.</p>

<p>They sent me a regular paper mail. Wow congrats WOT!! =) thats so awesome, i hope i come half as close to receiving some aid to pay for the horrendous tuition at USC… haha but i’m glad I got in and thats what counts!</p>

<p>I know that if I get outside scholarships I have to report it, hopefully those will help reduce the loans. This will just help meet the financial gap.</p>

<p>Hey guys, is anyone here applying for the Cal Grant in July? It’s like a $10,000 grant and will be a HUGE boost to helping me pay for USC. Also, does anyone know if our USC grant goes down if we report the Cal Grant?</p>

I got housing today too, it’s not great but I think i’ll take it. Looks like I’ll HAVE to learn to ride a bike, again. lol.</p>

<p>hey guys-you can try to log into orientation but it will block you if you have not gotten the email allowing you to log into orientation reservations. i learned the hard way 
seriously, they’re holding to that 5-7 business day processing of your deposit, regardless if you’re using USC email/can log in ANYWHERE on the USC website with your ID/USClogon.</p>
<p>I got housing in Century … I put it as my fifth preference and I submitted my app early like on April 21 … but I’m still happy to be close to campus.</p>
