i appealed too. i had a 3.72 uw gpa, 5.0/6 w, with a 2160 sat1, sat2 math1:760, sat2 literature: 780, with 4 years varsity softball, 4 years honor roll, some other little ec’s and what i thought was a really good app. i think the Communciations BA major is what got me rejected, so i appealed and said i’d come undeclared or for spring(although i really hope to get fall)

i was in the interview/final stage of consideration for an alumni club scholarship in texas, and got national merit finalist in february, so i included that as well

my dad’s friend who was a trackcaptain at USC years ago called on my behalf and asked about the appeal process, and she got the gist that they make the appeal process seem more impossible than it really is, its like a test cause you must REALLY be committed to send in all that stuff like a day after being rejected, so here’s to hoping we both get overturned!

i called to make sure it all got there cause i overnighted it like wednesday and it did, and she said if they overturn they’ll call or email by april 27th (i thought the letter said the 26th though…) and i asked when i might hear like if it would perhaps be sooner and she said they all usually went out right around that day.

QUESTION: if i get in for spring, do i lose my eligibilty for a NMF presidential scholarship even if USC is still my 1st choice with NM?
its guaranteed to SC students who list USC as their first choice
