nothing yet for me…anybody hear back?

alamemom thank you for the link, I’ll check it out, just in case. Thank you for the wishes too. No news yet, still early.

Sending my good wishes for successful appeals today too!

lindem100 the same exact thing happened to me. I was told by my counselor that with my grades I could easily get admitted into USC. Needless to say I was also surprises… USC was the only university I applied to and I regret it every single day that I didn’t apply to any other college… I also managed to send my appeal in almost a month late because I live in Brazil and the mail with the appeal letter only got here a month later… So I guess I won’t be going to college this year…

danibr93 Why didn’t you inform Admissions of the late arrival of your appeal letter? A situation like this might have been corrected if you had contacted the admissions office to ask if there was an appeal process or even to inform them of the letter’s late arrival and how it made you miss the appeal deadline. i hope that you will be working on transferring to USC in the next year or two.

danibr93 I am so sorry to hear that. Me and my daughter totally understand how you feel, this last month and a half, have been filled with so many emotions. Wishing we could turn back time, we would have done things so differently. My daughter doesn’t know what she will do. When you have been a high achiever all your school years and you are lead that you will go to a university and then for this to happen, leaves you speechless.

bbgg and lindem100,

Thank you for your kind words! I did send my appeal letter and informed them of the belated mailing via letter and via phone call… My counselor and I are trying everything to see if they will consider my appeal letter! And for both of you, I sincerely hope that you/your daughter are admitted! I understand that only a few will be admitted, but I’ll be cheering for you guys! Hope to see all of you in USC this fall or this spring, or next year!

Has anyone heard anything yet?

Great job danibr93 on getting your counselor helping you. I really hope you have been considered in this appeal process and will hear soon.

What are the chances for getting in off appeal? From what i remember it was 7%
anyone remember what the stats were for last year on the rejection letter?
I remember it saying how many ppl appealed, and how many got in for spring and fall.

anything yet?

Nothing yet.

I haven’t got anything yet. Still waiting…

I haven’t heard anything yet… I hope everybody on here who appealed hears good news :]

@amburcrowe my friend told me that he didnt get any emails, but there is a link added on his usconnect to submit deposit fees. so he assumes he get in

@tigerz well I’m on my phone (unfortunately not at home) so it doesn’t allow me to really access everything, but from the looks of it mine isn’t any different either…uh oh…not again…
