Before everyone jumps to conclusions about the backgrounds, keep in mind that USC may be updating their servers at this time. Remember there are thousands of applicants, meaning it can be possible that it is occurring slowly. A dark background may not be indicative of an acceptance, or a rejection. If it really does bother you, try switching to a computer if you are on mobile, or switching web browsers.
The portal was created by humans, and humans do error.
Anyone who has the black background should post their stats to see if there is a correlation. Idk. The stress is getting to me man

Yeah, I agree with what @vimyle said. Don’t be let down by your background! USC is smart enough to let their applicants know whether or not their in before applicants start receiving the packets. I think they might be updating the portals and it’s working earlier for some people (maybe according to last names or region, etc.).

Maybe the background goes dark depending on your time zone, so if it is after sunset, it is dark. I still have light here same as in the picture on the portal background. Lol.
@Nevets04 Portals are bound to error at some point, just like how UC servers went down random times way before acceptances came out.
