Fifteen schools
27
17 I believe (all with fee waivers, I aint about that crazy spending life lol)
Thanks. Such a mature point of view! And yes, of course I’ll remain supportive, but now I will try harder to hide my sadness. Good luck to you if you are waiting too, or Congrats if you’ve gotten int! (I went through this myself many years ago, did not get into Dartmouth ED and ended up at U Penn and was super happy and met my future husband there, made it into a great law school, etc. so I do know it works out, however it ends up).
Yes, I have seen that that’s what they say, but I have a hard time believing it. Given how important the “yield” is to all these schools, I don’t see how committing to attend in advance could not be an advantage. However, my older child got into his ED school, and then transferred out after a year, so I was no way going to push my daughter to give up hope on USC and apply ED to NYU. She has gotten into the film program at Syracuse, and got a pretty hefty scholarship as well, so things could be worse…
Spring admit from NJ. got the yellow mail minutes before.
Of course it’s raining today in NH so every time a car goes by it’s amplified by the wet so it’s even more agonizing to wait because I hear it so loudly and it’s never the mailman!
What time do decisions come out
Acceptance just arrived in Connecticut. Congrats to all of you who got in across the country and best of luck to those still waiting!
Got my acceptance package in the northern suburbs of Chicago :).
aah why is this happening so instantaneously? haha congrats guys!
Are you sure about that (that the my usps wouldn’t show it)? I hope you are right, but I’ve kind of made my peace with a rejection, so it could only be a happy surprise at this point. But the professor she interviewed with on the phone had also said he’d probably call her if she was accepted, and that hasn’t happened either. Anyway, we’ve made it this long, we’ll know soon enough. USC DEFINITELY has the most torturous decision rendering process of any school I’ve seen.
If I like within a 50 min radius of USC and didn’t receive my box yesterday , is it safe to say I was rejected ?
I have strong application but my low SAT scores may have caused my rejection

I totally agree with you. For anyone who gets in this year, I urge you to try to convince the Admissions people to reconsider how they do this. There has to be a better way! (like emailing the east coast people, but mailing to the CA people, so everyone hears on the same day…
