anyone accepted to WBB?
Anyone from the Springfield MO area receive news?
Ah so the portal update is mainly meant for people who cannot receive mail on time, right? If you already got your acceptance/rejection letter, then you are fine?
@invent0210 yup!
@invent210 Yes, that’s right (about the portal update).
@invent0210 Everyone will receive a portal update, but if you already have received mail from them it’s just a way of finding out earlier.
has anyone from Tennessee received anything yet?
Mail arrived nothing there…the only hope is that it comes in a package delivery. Here anything too big for a mailbox comes separately usually later in the day…Im assuming it is a no. This was a reach/dream school for my son with a 3.457 gpa and 1200 SATS but hes super creative and ready to go!! We will wait to confirm the no at 3am! Best of luck to everyone! This was the most fun of all the Universities! @CADREAMIN please let us know !!!
anyone in Georgia got anything?
so is it a no if a girl who lives in my neighborhood got her package and i still have nothing lol
Have all the major merit scholarships been given? Don’t recall hearing anything about Dean’s being out and the information about scholarships message in the portal only mentions Mork Family, Stamps, Trustee, and Presidential. If it’s not out, when are they releasing those other ones?
@foodnetwork Annenberg here!
Has anyone received acceptance from USC
Marshall Biz School yet?
anyone receive notification from CT yet?
S is accepted Marshall. I wish USC just let everyone know at the same time. The box is nice but this is so stressful for those waiting on the vagaries of the USPS.
@mgb1311 stats? CONGRATS!!! That is so awesome
Rejected from CS located in Sacramento. Thought I had a good chance with my stats and EC’s, in so much shock and extremely disappointed as USC was my top choice
GPA: 3.96/4.52, top 5% in class, 9 AP’s with 6 5’s and 3 4’s
ACT: 35
Math 2: 800, US Hist: 760
Where else accepted/rejected: Accepted: Davis (regents), ucsb, ucsd (undeclared) rejected: UCLA waitlisted: UC Hicago
EC’s: created android apps with over 10,000
downloads, robotics captain, 4 years varsity track
For future applicants: keep in mind that CS (and most engineering majors) are with no doubt the hardest majors to get into, if you are unsure about whether or not you want to into the field, please save yourself from the hypercompetitive nature of these majors. It’s great and all but my peers with much lower stats are getting into great schools for good majors (though not engineering) like biology and business.
@michiganea2021 I’m wondering the same thing. I got in but waiting on decisions for friends.
Nothing in the mail. Long Island NY. I can accept my d not getting in but I think it is obnoxious for USC to make applicants to the Academy who make the cut, (400+ applicants, they interview 60 kids and accept 30) travel to California to spend the weekend interviewing and attending events with their parents. Big waste of time and money. She may have been better off applying to a different program first choice. Assuming she did not get in since a few other kids from her school were accepted today. Making plans to visit Emory. Congrats to those who got in!
@fighton2017 what was your secondary choice major?
