To those who are not so fortunateā¦ take heart in that your true path simply lies elsewhere. Orā¦ if you disagree - persist and try again via TTP or a simple transfer. Many do transfer into USC. Persistence can be rewarded. But do not let any set-back decide your fate. Your path is as you choose to make it.

@collegemom111111 Woohooo mailbox moment! I know I harp on it, but it really is big when it happens, glad you had yours!
My kids would have been utterly disappointed if I ran in saying āhey, you got into USC.ā They tire of the āmom thunderā after a certain age. Sorta like taking the swing for them at t-ball rather than them doing it themselves. But I know, broken record here.

I was told that we would receive an email to check our portals but from my decisions from other schools when I got rejected and deferred they didnāt email me at all soo I wonder if usc will email us at all if we got rejected???

@Radm02 We are in Oregon and since my son is a Thornton applicant, we already know thereās a package from USC coming but not sure if it will arrive before the portal update. We are in the living room waiting for our mailman to show up.
@CADREAMIN my son is a jazz peformance major (guitar). The odd thing about seeing the package on USPS Informed Delivery this morning is that even though we got the white box today, the package that I saw was allegedly received at a Los Angeles regional distribution center at 12:45 am today and is still in transit. I am completely baffled.

Nice to have but probably wonāt end up going cause of the cost.
pretty sure iām not gonna get in - iāve had a wonderful weekend of three straight rejections (being my first college rejections ever). iām away touring university of florida this weekend so i have no way of even knowing if a package has been delivered to my house so itāll be a portal moment for me! iām from Virginia so it would probably being coming today if i were to get in. usc is my dream school so iām not completely giving up hope until 8pm est!
