USC Class of 2024 Applicants Thread

@andn4582 not me :neutral:

Accepted from MD!
SAT 1490, uw GPA 4.0, 1st in class, lots of EC’s and sports

You can’t go just by test scores or GPA, etc. There are so many things that go into evaluating an applicant - including hooks like URM, athlete, legacy, etc. Stats are not the only indicator.

Accepted OOS (New York)
Major: Architecture
SAT: 1390
GPA: 103% weighted (100 point scale)

• Actively involved in major related activities and internships

@hcmom65 So true. USC now routinely rejects 4K+ with 99th percentile test scores and 4.0 uw GPAs. As you said… stats are only one of many factors under consideration.

For Any spring admits. My daughter was a spring admit last year and planned to do a semester at our local college. Some do their first semester abroad. But in early May she was moved up to Fall. Congratulations to all fall and a spring admits.

Am I on the right page?

@collegegirl2487 that’s what mine says and i’m wondering the same hting

@jiminnyoo no :frowning: im getting worried

Rejected - West Texas :frowning:

My son’s says the same…

USC doesn’t have a waitlist, so some see Spring Admit as a quasi WL. The Spring admit stats do not go into the Fall “admit” stats (you know, all the ones that the colleges like to brag about!!), so many Spring Admits have stats that are lower than what USC admits for Fall. Yes, there will be some that were offered Spring that might move to Fall admit, but I would not count on that. TTP (Trojan Transfer Program) is something different altogether and usually offered to legacy students.

has california come out yet??
