Hi @CADREAMIN ! Hope you all are well. No, she never got that darn acceptance packet! She got a t-shirt in the mail that I think is typically handed out at orientation, but not the packet, sadly. My D is doing her classes from home and it’s going fine but I sure hope she can get on campus soon - feel so bad for these kids! Her two good friends from high school are also home still, and one will be at least through this first semester if not longer, so at least she’s able to be social from a social distance with them. Fight On!
@CAtransplant I’m very surprised (and sad) about the packets not going out, I will ask about those. They were manually put together by staff every year, so it may have been more of a getting them together issue with everyone working from home rather than a worry about mailing germs, which isn’t the concern it was during those couple weeks of madness in March/April anyway. I know it’s just a thing, but we still have all of ours in the original boxes, they are really something special - but the diploma is obviously the important thing to get from them.
@CADREAMIN I’m sad about it too, but yes I assumed it had to do with staff working from home and not being able to put them together. It would be nice to have one eventually though I agree the diploma is the more important ultimately!
