Please, everyone, remember that a deferral is NOT the end. My son was where many of you are, a year ago, beyond devastated that he was deferred. Then, he DID get in RD. Deferral is not rejection. Yes, mentally, move on to other options. You will find something really great. But you were NOT rejected. Prior to 2023, USC didn’t even have EA. Best of luck to you all, wherever you end up. You are one-of-a-kind and you will bloom where you are planted. Fight On!

Deferred. Assuming this means she won’t get $30k+ merit RA so no point to continue the process
