It may be too late, but for EA does USC request mid-year reports? I believe my first semester grades are on my transcript now, but I have not uploaded anything to USC, nor know how. Not that it would make a difference now lol
Did some applicants get deferred already? I thought the EA decisions were all being released on the same day?
I think so. Many posts on College Confidential say that people got in after receiving this email. However, other applicants who did not receive this email also got in. So don’t worry about this request.
We also didn’t upload mid year report. Because we are in winter break yet. Also our school will upload transcript a week after winter break. I think the EA admission decision was made already. If you will be deferred you should upload mid year report.
It should be Friday the 16th. They will likely post the date of EA decisions up on socials after today. Today is last day to apply for regular admission and that is filling that space for now. Good luck all!
USC requires mid-year reports for first-year applicants, which include your senior fall semester grades, to ensure your academic performance remains strong; you submit them via the Common App’s Mid-Year Report form or directly through the USC Applicant Portal.
They understand some are available sooner (or later) than others, but when available if you don’t have a counselor auto sending at your hs, you should make sure they are sent.
This is one of their social’s posts from LAST YEAR:
