Financial aid and admissions office are completely separate, aid applications start to process for anyone. You don’t receive a financial aid summary right away with acceptance, do not treat it as a sign.
Multiple students in the past have been denied with aid emails.

Agree - I know for other schools, these financial requests have no bearing on admissions. Not a good indicator of outcomes today. Good luck to everyone!

Yes. Don’t worry. If your docs are enough for financial aid, they don’t ask it. I just assume that usc doesn’t use Idoc so they ask IRS verification for aid. But many people were not asked it.

They use own financial aid portal, not IDOC. Its called FAST
Yes. So they request to submit everything they need for FA or sign for verification of IRS. Every one knows.

Yeah looks like some students already know based upon Instagram? I imagine that if you were rejected, you haven’t found out yet? Ugh.
If you’re referring to the USC Admissions Instagram page - that’s a pinned post from last March.
There are no rejections in the EA cycle!

I see it now.
That’s correct - however I’m not convinced they are out - someone said they got in with a full ride when USC had indicated that scholarships wouldn’t come out with the decision (they would come out around Jan 30)…some people just like to prank or “manifest”
