<p>Those are all great schools - according to US News & World Report “Top Business Programs” - #5 UNC, #9 USC, #9 (tie) UVA.</p>
<p>SOOOOOOO i emailed a counselor on monday being like “Whats up with my status (we are unable to process), can i turn anything extra in? blah blah blah”</p>
<p>and he CALLLED me back today to tell me they sent my decision yesterday, and i should be recieving a letter soon. </p>
<p>He sounded EXCITED.</p>

<p>oh and btw. im at work and everyone thinks im crazy.</p>

<p>omg. so I called the admissions rep and apparently they mailed out my decision letter last week but it got mailed back to them for some odd reason… he says I should be receiving my letter by the end of the week.</p>
<p>Hmm, that happened a few times in the past couple months. It’s a good reason to double check your contact info to make sure they have your correct mailing address. There’s a link to it on OASIS (w/ STARS) > Other Services > Change of Address.</p>

<p>Is a 3.89 even considered competitive? All of you have a 4.0 and it’s starting to freak me out. Something else that i am losing sleep and hair over is my essay. When I called about 3 weeks ago, some guy said that the decision making process was in depth and lengthy because they want to ensure that they have a diverse group in the Marshall school of business (students who are adept in different all aspects). But none of the essay questions really asked anything about career aspirations and choice of major. I wrote the most general uninteresting essay. I would have spent the past 2 years interning had I known they wanted people to be Alen Greenspan by the time they had applied. One guy even has his series 7…***!!! I think its time to wave bye bye to the possibility of going to this school.</p>

<p>Franklinms22, I’d hang in there. I dunno bout Marshall b.c I put it as a first choice, but I dropped out of one of the classes I needed to be in, so entering undecided. However I got in with a GPA just below 3.4 so I think you shouldn’t count yourself out.</p>
<p>Franklinms: Im the guy with the series 7…I don’t have a 4.0, and although I wish I had Allen Greenspan’s brain, Im not him. Im applying to SPPD and not sure if Im in or not. You obviously have great attributes as an applicant. USC looks at applicants as a whole. I have decided I really can’t worry anymore. It is what it is. If I become devastated by a rejection from SC, it will undermine my experience at an alternative University. My philo is…If you want to excel, you will do so at any school, USC or otherwise. However, I am still holding out for SC.</p>
<p>Seems there are other SPPDers that have yet to hear. My counselor said that they do not sort by majors but I think differently.</p>
<p>I FINALLY logged In today and I am officially a Trojan!!! They weren’t kidding when they told me mid-July. For those of you still waiting, hang in there. There’s light at the end of the tunnel!</p>
