<p>ok, i got an “unable” message yesterday and today my financial aid status updated from 04/03 to today, 07/19. it still says my Financial Aid Eligibility is Being Reviewed, but at least the date changed. i still can’t log into the commitment page though… i’ll wait a little bit more before i draw any conclusions. anyone have any ideas or know anything about the financial aid status update?</p>

<p>I haven’t posted in awhile but you guys can add me to the list of people still waiting. My application status actually restarted so I thought for sure I was rejected until I called USC, and still to this day they said they have not made a final decision. I don’t know if this applies to the rest of you guys but from what I understood from the admissions representative was that one group of reviewers admitted me while the second group denied my application. She said my application is in a final review now which basically means I have to get two out of the three groups to admit my application.</p>
<p>I’m still unclear on the exact process but I hope that sheds some light for why it’s taking so long for some of us.</p>
<p>I also asked how many spots they have left to which the representative replied that there is no limit to how many people they can accept. To me this is really good news and diminishes any notions that they are quickly running out of spaces.</p>
<p>How the hell did you get that kind of information out of them? When I called they were unwilling to give anything but basic answers. Damn, your lucky.</p>

<p>fact: It’s actually white. I had been waiting for a RED package when I got accepted too, and I thought it was some random package for my parents, lol. 
The mailman stuffed it inside our tiny mailbox and ripped some of it but I loved it nonetheless. All the best to you guys still waiting!</p>
<p>sunnkissed – I got the unable status late afternoon on Friday and I still can’t log in to the commitment page. My financial aid status date also changed from 4/9 to 7/18 and it does say “being reviewed”</p>
<p>I hope that not being able to login to the commitment page has something to do with it being the weekend. My status didn’t change until pretty much closing time at the admissions office. For that reason, I don’t think I’ll get anything in the mail until Tuesday or Wednesday</p>
<p>Snarekick- It does have to do with the weekend. They have someone type in the student’s USC ID and activate it. You should be able to access it tomorrow once the office opens and updates the site again, I would think.</p>
