<p>I am on the phone with Admissions (haha)-I am waiting for an available counselor to see if all decisions have been made so we can just take deep breaths!! So ok…I just spoke with them (Karen shes nice) and they are finalizing all decisions this week so we may be in for another week of hell!! AH…and no decision has been made on his file</p>

<p>My status are alright… 3.7, but it lowered with Spring grades because I took 6 classes and got a 3.5 ;/. But uhh yeah my status is just “We are unable blahbla” right now… duno why I can’t log into Oasis though… weird…</p>
<p>hey joseph m515…how many units did you take during spring quarter and what was your gpa during spring?</p>
<p>Actually I only took 2 classes in a quarter system one of which was a 5 unit class so 9 units total. I had an emergency come up toward the beginning of the quarter which caused me to have to drop a class. 4.0 for the spring.</p>
<p>Just called admissions. Karen told me that my application was complete and a decision has not been made yet. I asked her if I would be able to get a decision in the mail before Friday and she said that all decisions will be finalized by friday and if I had not recieved anything in the mail yet, I can call on Friday the 25th.</p>
<p>Another long week!!!</p>
<p>I have to believe they would try and send out rejections ASAP and not drag out the process but who knows. It also seems everyone posting here late in the game is getting acceptances, which is encouraging. I talked to Marie in admissions who is really nice. Marie said check wednesday and Friday and everything will be finalized.</p>
<p>mine still says received spring grades. i wish the status would at least change. i guess it will any day.</p>
<p>just got the packet. they are so unproffessional. i really want to go to this orientation but the commitment form is due by the 23rd of july. i wouldn’t be freaking out if my user id worked on the site, but it doesn’t. anyway, they are still sending out acceptance packets guys, so don’t lose hope. good luck to all.</p>

<p>Hippo- What did you get for your spring grades? It seems like we’re the only annenberg applicants left waiting for a decision. What school are you going to go to if you don’t get into USC? Ugh. I am just praying for a spring admission at this point…or I hope I’m at least being considered for my second choice major. It seems like annenberg is really being selective</p>

<p>2 A’s 2B’s for spring grades. On par with my GPA of 3.5. </p>
<p>I’ll return to my community college and reapply to SC and a few others next year. I planned on transferring to a CSU or UC in the winter, but none of the one’s I’d be interested in going to are open for winter or spring. I guess now I’ll take the minimum units for insurance purposes and use those classes to boost GPA. Obviously–hopefully–there was something about my application that they liked. So if at first I don’t achieve–try again.</p>
<p>Jychoi- If your status has changed it is most likely they have made a decision. You should call in right now and see if they have mailed it out…good luck!</p>
<p>Hippo- I got the same as you, 3 As and 3 Bs for my spring semester–with 22 units. I feel as if there was obviously something in me which caused annenberg to request my spring grades, especially because due to a crapload of circumstances I did horrible this fall and recieved a D in a course (I totally thought I’d be rejected on the spot) which tainted my 3.8 gpa prior to that. I really hope they look at me as an individual and see the progress I have made. I can’t wait until this friday…I just need some closure!</p>

<p>I would most definitely accept spring admission. USC is the only university that I truly wish to attend. Although with being a spring admit that would sorta interfere with joining the TMB. I’ll take what I can get though.</p>
<p>The lady I spoke to today said that EVERY application that was finalized over the weekend was accepted. Whether that’s true or not those were her words. She also said that it is far from a bad thing to those who are still waiting. We just gotta hang in there. Remember that there’s no limit to how many people they can accept. It’s also a complete myth that we face either rejection or a spring admit. We still have the same odds of everyone that’s already been accepted to be admitted in the fall.</p>
<p>Well that’s good news. I wonder how they prioritize which applications they look at? hmmm…</p>
<p>I am transferring as a Junior to Marshall, do I need to take any placement exams?</p>
