Bumping this up for the 2012 applicants.

Most of those accepted in the last week of January and first week of February were interviewed for the Trustee (full tuition) or Presidential (1/2 tuition), or offered the 1/4 tuition Dean’s. Later in the process, 20 of the Trustee awardees were upgraded to the new Mork (full tuition + $5,000) scholarship. It remains to be seen if Mork candidates will be identified before the scholarship interviews or selected from the Trustee/Presidential candidates again this year.

As always, I suggest looking carefully at the posts of those NOT accepted (posts from about 3/23, page 5 on) for a reality check. There were some amazingly well-qualified applicants who got bad news - don’t start feeling like a shoo-in if you see stats similar to yours on an “accepted” post until you have looked at ALL the “rejected” posts.

In addition, please understand that USC looks at the individual, and if you see some unexpected acceptances it is very likely that the individual had an outstanding quality, accomplishment, or experience that made USC particularly want that applicant. (In other words, please do not criticize any of the posters who placed their information on this thread to help YOU understand the admissions process at USC.)

Good luck to ALL!
