<p>Please keep in mind the freshmen class that entered SC in August of 2011 had around 2900 students enrolled. The sample you are seeing is very small compared to that number. </p>
<p>Students who applied to the art schools had to present an outstanding portfolio or audition, competing against highly talented students from all over the world. There is no way to show here the quality of the portfolio or the talent level of artists and musicians.</p>
<p>In the class there were 247 National Merit Scholars. Only a few of these posted their statistics here on the forum.</p>
