<p>You will have to do some real digging. If you are a student, your best bet is to be on a parent’s plan. If that is not possible, you will need an independent plan which is very expensive. We have private insurance and jumped at putting S on USC’s plan. D is on this plan at another University and it covered all but $200 when she was hospitalized in her Soph year with breathing issues. Aetna has a very good reputation as a health insurance company - it does seem expensive but honestly, premiums everywhere have really gone up over the past two years and this is a good deal from what we have to choose from.</p>
