USC Health Insurance

Whatever insurance you MAY consider, be SURE it meets USC requirements for a waiver or you will have to buy the USC insurance anyway.

For many of us, kids under 26 can be included in our insurance plans at no extra charge. That is why we are able to complete a form & get a waiver of insurance every year for our kids. When our S was aging out of our plan, we did find the USC plan the cheapest for the coverage it provided & bought it for our S (though never made any claims). The insurance we bought after that was about $400/month, so MUCH higher. Now, he’s covered under our plan again, since the law changed allowing him to be covered since he’s under 26 years old.

Agree that it’s crucial to always have insurance coverage & know what it does and dose NOT include.
