<p>I’m fairly certain, the Stafford loan is the maximum a student can borrow – $5500 as a freshman with the limit slightly increasing each year.</p>
<p>Parents have many options including Parent Plus loans. USC is just beginning to send out payment and loan option correspondence to parents. There are also many private loans available to parents. I would suggest looking at USC’s financial aid website and calling the Financial Aid office. There is a wealth of information there.</p>
