USC Math requirement?

A common path but by no means necessary math pathway that many people take is:

Algebra I in 8th grade, Geometry in 9th grade, Algebra II in 10th grade, Pre-Calculus/Trig in 11th grade, and then Statistics or Calculus in 12th grade.

A college algebra class at a CC is usually on the Algebra II level.

Therefore you only took 2/3 of the absolute minimum requirements for admission. Even then, many applicants to USC take at least 4 or 5 math classes.
