Ok and just to check if I have this all straight:

The secondary school report is a combination of the teacher/counselor recommendation form AND the transcript request form. This is the transcript that will make its way to USC at the time of application.

Then for the midyear report (which I hear that it is not needed unless requested by USC) I will follow what you say in post #2 and enter the midyear grades online at https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmSeniorYear/ and then mail or fax them a photocopy of the report card. But this is only if they specifically request it?

From what I am getting, I will not need my school registrar or counselor to do anything for the mid year report-just send in the grades myself, is that correct? That’s very nice of USC, since many other schools require ANOTHER transcript to be sent–the so called “mid year” transcript. So that effectively doubles the cost for transcripts for each school since two need to be sent…

Thanks for the help, alamemom! I got back the confirmation for reciept of the Part I application in a nice letter that they sent me.
