USC School of Theatre Students

I’d say that simply because the USC Film School is more renowned, it’s easier to get connections to film through Theatre at the same school. I don’t know much about film at NYU, but I know that there is a lot of collaboration between the Cinema-Television students/programs and the Theatre ones at USC.

<p>NYU has an amazing film program (writing/directing). It’s every bit as competitive as USC’s. The emphasis is a little different; NYU has more of an indie bent. USC probably has more connections, but an NYU film student will be respected in L.A. as well.</p>
