I applied as a Bio Major, so College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences as well

Also, to any of you on FB and in the USC fb group, I just started a discussion for the CCers. I’ve gotten to know a lot of you well enough I’d feel comfortable putting a face to a screenname. Obvs, if you’re not comfortable with that, don’t feel obliged. Fight on!

Mail came, socal, close to USC. Nothing today. :(

Ditto here. We are six miles from USC.

S has left for the evening. So I logged on to his account at USC. Once again, as it did a few weeks ago, it’s claiming I’m using the wrong password. Nope. I’m not going to hold on the phone for 12 minutes like the last time to get it fixed. We’ll just wait.

FindaPlace, using one of the other status checking methods (that other one, I forget, camelsomething) uses a different password/ID, and when ever we’ve used that one and then tired to go back to USCconnect, it messes up the password in that one, and we have to re-enter it. That probably makes no sense. Oh well.

Capitalize the first letter of the password. I don’t know why, but this works

the password is case sensitive.

OMG it’s telling us we have the wrong password, too, here:

but not here:
https://camel2.usc.edu/AdmOnlineApplication/

I wonder what’s up!? They’ve both always worked. Hey, maybe they’re adding those lovely extra boxes to some of our portals?

mac safari, btw.

i’ve never been able to log on to the camel2.usc.edu log in. but i think it’s because i started my account on a PC and the camel2 was originally created for mac users. At least, i know when i first started my application, I emailed usc and they said i could only log on to the usconnect way because I used a PC.

right, but they changed that and made it work for mac some time after the apps were due. And it’s been fine ever since. Any other mac users having trouble?

I have a mac and it never lets me sign in on the camel2 website but it always lets me on usconnect

i just tried the camel way with a PC and it worked…

Yes, the camel way works. But it doesn’t show you as much as USconnect. The page with all the color boxes for example, where hopefully an RSVP and Enroll box will soon appear. Can some other mac users report if they can still log in to USCConnect?

https://usconnect.usc.edu//Login.aspx

^^ I tried both. They both seem to be working. I can only log into my Camel account using Firefox. However, I must use Safari if I wanted to log into my Usconnect account. Still no boxes…

Hmmm, my status just changed to “Your application has been forwarded for committee review.”; it used to be “we have received all materials…April 1st.” It probably doesnt mean anything, but I thought I would just post about it. I hope this means something good! :/

well that’s strange. USC somehow automatically changed his USConnect login email from his application one to his usc.edu email from his summer program last summer. We tried password request with the (formerly correct) email and it said “failed.” Then, for the heck of it, we tried his usc email from last summer, and voila. HMMMMMMM.

Status changed today to “forwarded to committee review” - I am international student.

Screw this!
I too applied to USC, and I’m not sure if I’ll get in anymore.
You know, instead of just stalling until April 1st, I wish they would just tell me (and other people) that we’ve been rejected.
Just get it over with already!
I’m sick of waiting.

My status was updated today to “your application has been forwarded for committee review” from “we have received the fall grades we requested.” This is my first status update since January. Hopefully this means something good!
