I have not studied the transfer requirements in detail, but according to the Transferring to USC 2014 brochure, there are two required courses for transfers - a writing course and (for most majors*) either intermediate or advanced Algebra. If you have a higher math course, that meets the requirement. *Some majors in the sciences, social sciences, business, architecture and engineering programs at USC require specific mathematics courses and achievement beyond this level. http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/docs/TransferringToUSC_2014.pdf

If it was another course that you dropped, you may be okay.

If one of those two courses is the one you dropped, then there may be bad news for you in regards to admission. You can try again to transfer after completing the requirement, but I see that you have completed two years at a cc already. Have you checked to see if the required course is available at your cc for summer? You could enroll, print and scan your registration and send it to your admissions counselor to show the requirement will be complete by the time you matriculate to USC (if accepted).

Good luck!
