<p>first, congrats to all those who got in for Fall/Spring.</p>
<p>second, I personally applied as a junior transfer to Marshall, however, I was rejected right after I submitted my Spring grades (I got a D in Calculus which is…). I wrote a formal appeal letter and submitted 3 letters of rec. with it. Now I hear back after 2 weeks of waiting and the Admissions replied me via email and said, “Your transfer appeal has been decided and you may call us for the decision.” But since, I know that they never tell you the decision over the phone, does anyone know what’s going on?</p>
<p>third, referring to pg.136, does anyone else who got rejected give Admissions a call and tell them your passion for USC and eventually get into a different major(other than the choice you initially applied for)?</p>
<p>last, are you Spring admits able to login the orientation page at the moment?</p>

<p>It had been flutuating around 3.3 throughout my college career, it was due to my F then C in Precalculus, followed by a deadly D in Calculus… I just dunno why Math hates me that much. Well, I thought I still had a shot because I had a 3.35 when I applied and I did receive a Spring grade request, not a straight rejection. My GPA after the deadly D is 3.15. I attended a two-year cc in CA.</p>
<p>You should have applied to a different major at USC and then transfer to Marshall once you’re already there. USC Marshall is way too competitive to take a 3.15 GPA with an F followed by a C…and a D. Plus, Marshall wants people who can do well in math.</p>
<p>Also, not to give you even more bad news but…most people get spring grade requests.</p>
<p>kingjames23, you are right. I didn’t even apply for a 2nd choice major so they have to reject me right away if Marshall doesn’t want me.</p>
<p>Anyway, I’ll call them on Monday to find out what’s going on. I’ll show them my enthusiasm to enter the school(major is not a factor) if I hear a bad news and see what they say. Anyways, it is just barely more than a week till the semester begins… I’ll have to plan for a lot of stuff since I’m now on vacation in Hong Kong.</p>
