Does anyone think USC would reject me (incoming sophomore) since my schedule is so full of BS? It’s damn easy, but i’m just fulfilling USC req’s, know what I mean?

FALL 2006

English 110 (USC english 1st semester requirement)
Elementary Hebrew I (USC foreign language semester #1)
Intro to Sociology (Diversity requirement. Plus it’s the only req for my 2nd choice major…SOCI)
Introductory College Algebra and Mathematical Modeling (USC admission advisor told me to take this since Econ is my 1st choice)
Music Appreciation (USC Cat V)

SPRING

English 111 (2nd semester of english for USC)
Elementary Hebrew II (2nd semester of foreign language for USC)
Macroeconomics (Econ req)
Microeconomics (Econ req)
Anthropology 100 (USC Cat II)

Think that seems like TOO much of a breeze, or that’s normal for a freshman? Besides, i’m just filling requirements.

Oh and for anyone that cares… the USC rep confirmed that if you have 30+ credits by the end of fresh year, SAT/HS doesn’t matter nearly as much.

that’s what i thought, and that’s what the USC site says too. but an admissions rep told me to take that, so i’ll just listen to him. i’m going to harrass USC admission again tommorow and double check on that. Anways, do ALL the major req’s need to be completed? they could only expect so much from a freshman. I’ve been under the impression that not taking english is the only thing that could really get you rejected if you’re GPA is really high.

I called my regional rep today. I have a situation with my housing deposit for my current school, and as soon as I said my name she said she was “on” my situation, and to call back Thursday and I will definitely have a decision by the end of the week. Hopefully it is a good decision.I can’t believ the wait is finally going to come to an end. Im pulling for all you gusy do the same for me. Post as soon as you here. FIGHT ON!

Oye! Would anyone happen to know the answer to this question…

I’m trying to transfer to Marshall and did all the business prereqs but ended up with a C in calculus. Does anyone know what my chances are of being admitted as undecided? Would USC let me retake calculus at their school or is a C in calc enough to get me rejected?
