USC transfers.

Crap, the reason I didn’t sign up for this orientation was because I can’t get an email address, either. Last thursday I sent in my admittance card and faxed my parents W2 forms, but they haven’t reflected the changes in the system. Blah.

has anyone called today?

no, i’m at work. You should do the honors  you’re sitll waiting for marshall right?

yes, but I called on Friday-no decision

me too, no decision on monday :(

oh well…guess we have to wait…

Kudos, I have gotten my usc email, it was available as of today. :)

it’s lizcano@usc.edu, i guess it defaults to your last name.

it only has a limit of 75mbs, which sucks, but whatever!

called today no decision regional rep said a decision should def be made by the end of this week though. She also said she put my 2nd choice major change through. Still waiting…but the end may be near.

Hey guys I know i havent been around here lately been trying not to think about admissions but I just wanted to let you all know i got into USC today!! receoved the acceptance in the mail  Best of luck to you all

Oh yea i got accepted into Marshall

i want to be added to the official accepted/not admitted/still waiting list. i was accepted!

what were all of your stats, current school, and majors?

Irvine Valley College 4.0 gpa 61 units Business Administration

Orientation was an… adventure… to say the least. I’m dead tired, and I actually have to get down to Long Beach in about 30mins so I’m about to run… but I just wanted to say chin up folks. I actually got all of my classes barring only one that I’m waiting for approval on (hopefully I’ll get that approval tomorrow). I signed up for a backup just in case, but the one I’m waiting for is 2nd semester Spanish… which… if I skip a semester I’ll be so F’d… heh, I’ll forget everything by spring. Oh well, nothing to do but wait on that one. Got my email address as well, card, so much stuff… bring a big backpack… so much stuff.

The first half felt sort of like a total waste of time, there is a big welcome session, then some bs… then a session where they break you up by college and talk to you about what they require of you… then a small little information fair before lunch. I wasn’t feeling the first half at all, but at lunch they put everyone together by major to eat, which was nice… there were like 10 econ people, but most were Marshall-wannabes that were going to ditch us  so screw them… Next on to advising, and here’s the good news… see all those closed sections? They’re actually holding a few seats for us transfer peeps. They opened up like 4 spots in the upper divisional Econ stuff, for example, for us… I also got in to WRIT340 woooooooo! Finished the day with a simple Writing testing for us LAS folk… no worries here, it’s just a free form essay on a very broad topic… it lasts 30mins tops. My only regret was not waiting for my USC card. Hot day, I was beat tired by the time I got my picture taken and I look exhausted/stoned/fugly… should have gone back tomorrow or something, but who cares  at least that only took like 5 mins to do. Anyway, that’s sort of the play by play

good stuff.

were there a lot/any engineers there puppy???

“a decision will be made and mailed today or tomorrow”

holy crap!

did you ask if they could give you your decision over the phone?

wannaabe-

this is collegegirl05’s mom. she is working today.

did you talk to your counselor or gen admin?
did they say a decision would be made today - then mailed today or tommorrow?
