UT Austin 2011/12 Transfer Guide

I still haven’t gotten my decision 5 minutes until 5pm when their office closes. :(

Have there been any McCombs accepts today?

I am pretty sure you’ll be in!

Some people received the decision around 8pm, 10pm and even after midnight in this thread. You can be prepare for having a HAPPY shaking.

Thanks Novacky did you get your decision yet? You seem like a great leader that Mccombs needs. Also Winterbite made a good point that no has confirmed Mccombs admittance today. Anxiety is killing me, going to go take a walk ease my mind.

Admitted!!! McCombs!!! I’m an international !!!

Hell yea!!! Congratulations to everyone getting in!!!

@Jeremystory

Congratulations!! Did you finish the Cal II? WHat is your stats? Thank you so much!

YEY, You Did it!!! CONGRATULATIONS, Mr.4.0!!!

anyone heard from Cockrell today??

Dang… I’m starting to lose hope. Eeerrrrrrrrr…!¡!¡

International Applicants 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011

Applications 211 271 271 285 285

# Admitted 31 13 13 17 26

Enrolled 20 10 12 12 17

Avg. GPA (Admits) 3.88 3.93 3.89 3.92 3.95

It seems that if you don’t have GPA4.0, you won’t get in McCombs as an international. Even If you have GPA4.0, you are not guaranteed an offer. It’s really cruel for us. Good luck to all international McCombs applicants!!!

I finished Cal 1,2,3, Deferential equation and Linear Algebra.

Congrats @Jeremystory

@Bioscience–AYE! Keep your head up! You got this man

My wife’s application is still showing “In Review” for McCombs. But she’s still in Calc II so I don’t expect that to change until after her final next Thursday and we get the transcript submitted.

I got to chemical engineering!!! :smiley: :smiley: :smiley: :D

@ profme Congrats!!!

Are the status’s being updated in realtime?

@ProfMe

CONGRATULATIONS, ProfMe!!! So Much Happy for You!!!

@Wintersbite

I’m thinking the same way…

Applicants who do not finish Calculus requisites might have to wait… But I also believe that the admission officers open up the great possibilities of accepting students who have above a 3.9 GPA for McCombs and a 3.8 GPA for Cockrell.

As far as you see “In Review” on your status, you are still considered as an applicant for First Choice. This is what I’ve heard from the admission counselor…

@NOVACKY

Thank you for sharing, still “In Review”…

Nervous!!!

Why an admission officer told me that I would receive the result even if my Cal II was still in progress?!

@ProfMe
do you mind sharing your stats? one of my choices was chemical engineering

thanks
