I was born in Austin but am from south/central Texas. I’m trying to transfer out of A&M for multiple reasons. Of them, I prefer a big city environment, especially like Austin with so many opportunities and a much greater diversity of people and ideas. From my experience (Liberal Arts), A&M has good academic programs but nothing great or near UT’s. It is definitely a school geared towards engineers, etc. Everyone here I know is trying to do engineering. I’m one of 3 German majors currently, as far as I’m aware. And UT offers so many more languages to study particularly in my area of interest (German, Scandinavian, Dutch Studies).
Has anyone talked to the Office of Admissions to see if there is a wave of decisions being released today? Or any other information?
Hopefully more decisions come out today like on Friday of last week
I’m sure everyone is set on next Friday since all international students heard on the last day on the UT website for them to hear back.
It’s be nice to hear decisions today tho. If there are some it would be between 12-3 pm , no decisions have been released after 3 pm on fridays based on this thread. I think they leave early on fridays.
I think admission officers are reading this thread and they are laughing at our predictions.

That’s why so many people end up disappointed and anxious, because people are constantly speculating with zero information LOL, why not just post acceptances and denials in here and just wait patiently?
On April 26th @AwsomeSauce provided this list that was the latest at that time. I just copy and pasted hers here. If anyone wants to take on updating - would be a nice project
