I just called and they said that decisions for both majors (first and second choice) are gonna be released today, even if they are on different schools

I called the dallas admissions office and the most recent update is that decisions were slated to be released today, but they are “running a little bit behind”. They are “hoping” by monday at the latest. I wish they would just give us a straight answer and stuck to it. We had to make deadlines to get the application in, I don’t see why they can’t do the same. I realize its a different situation and they have thousands of applications but it has been months and it is not like they just thought “oh wow we are behind” there had to be indicators that it wasn’t going to be today. An official heads-up would have been nice to say the least.
@CLATX123 I just called admissions and they said that was false. All decisions for both majors will be made today. You can still appeal if you get denied as well.

@danielolaya I hope your right. My source so far has been pretty correct, but I feel like you can’t really trust anything the admissions center has said so far. So many things have come from them that have contradicted what another worker has said. We got this brotha!

@student12322 they said decisions are usually released by 6 pm, but that due to the number of students, it may be as late as 9 or 10. She said she’s never seen it later than that. I hope that’s helpful! I double checked to make sure decisions weren’t contingent on their hours of operating.
Admitted to Cockrell for Electrical Engineering a few minutes ago
… and now I have to scramble for housing.

@OGmandyV looking at last years thread, they didn’t start showing acceptances until 4pm in the 15th and it ran all the way thru the night til the next morning. Guessing they have to load and update the system and based on the number of applicants, it’s going to take some time, hope it’ll go faster this year. good luck to all
