@thetruespacejam Yes I still have a 4.0 on my updated trasncript and Looking at everything i turned in for my application seems to be really strong making me quite competitive but yet I was denied which dsnt seem to be fair.
Dude its almost 5 come on man
i love the conspiracy where they won’t send the majority of decisions until after the office is closed
My husband is working on a new project helping develop software program and when he pushes and update, it can take thirty minutes to clear the cache and it be live. Of course, he doesn’t know if that’s standard but he’s telling me I might take a deep breath and only check every thirty.
Congrats @ChipCookie!
ey ey ey. 2%ers from A&m represent !
welcome to the dark side @ChipCookie
@thetruespacejam that is the single most created sceeen name ever
no more building legos anymore :^)
@eddy393. I believe that UT does their admission percentages based on in state/ out of state/ international. They had all the percentages written done in reports (in a link posted about 2 weeks ago) that showed about 80% from in State, 10% from out of state and 10% from international.
Congrats!!!
@tigger68 I still dont get it why wasnt I competitive enough than others to not be even considered in those 10 percent although comparing my stats with others who got in I am way ahead
Wow! Interesting thing just happened. I was accepted as a Biology major, my second choice! I’m a little bummed about not being accepted as a Psychology major, but I’m freaking ecstatic either way! Thanks to everyone in this thread for making this process slightly less stressful!
@eddy393. Not sure. The only thing you can compare are the ones you competed with (international). Ones from in State (or even out of state) were competing against each other for a different position. The ones accepted today That you are looking at may be in State and have more slots to be able to be filled. Just my guess, you’d have to ask UT for the official answer
Woohoo!!!
@OGmandyV You got accepted?
3.5 GPA denied to psych 6-15
@Eddy393 You’re already in a great school. A&M’s starting salaries statistically are slightly better than UT, and the engineering program is great there. I wana go to Austin, I love the university and the city, but I am also strongly considering A&M
It’s past 5pm. Any news?
