Poor guys who are waiting for external transfer decision. I got into UT as a physics major with a 4.0 GPA last year. I submitted all resume, essays, transcript, and letters of recommendation by October 1st. On November 4th afternoon, I checked and found out that I got admitted. I just waited for 1 month and 10 days.
On May 1st this year, I applied for internal transfer to chemical engineering. They told me that the decision would be released by 5pm on May 30. Unbelievably, I got accepted on 5/25, 5 days before the deadline. My friends who applied for internal transfer CS got decisions last Friday although the deadline should be today.
Internal transfer admission seemed to get priority
